  • Bongzzy Bongz Art: Work in Progess

Bongzzy Bongz Art: Work in Progess: Wow. Some of my best work. I'm as excited to right about it as I was drawing this piece. It had been a long time not drawing when...
  • I cry, You cry, We all cry. Sometimes.

    These Aren't Tears of Joy!

When I made this drawing, I really did
feel like letting them out. This drawing was to represent the outward manifestation of what was going on inside. I was broke, had nothing I woke up to. No job, business wasn't going well either. I tell you, I felt like punching a wall to the ground.

But not when there were constructive means of expressing the hurt I carried with me day in and day out. And that's when I had a mental light bulb. If I can't let them down my cheeks, I sure can draw it. And so I did.

I hope the colours say it all. I was still on my grey scale with colours.

So this is how it looked when it was all done!
    What do you think?
  • My Girl Masabata Molaoa

I lived in the same block as her in Hennenman, my hometown.
She was one of a kind I tell you.

That kind of girl we on our block defined beauty by.
she turned heads. She made every guy in my
crew feel they could speak better poetry than Shakespeare.
And yes, I had the privilege to befriend her.

She is very sensitive and more on the cautious side, or
at least she was then. So in case you wondering if
I did try my luck, the answer is hell yes.
But the only thing she picked up from me is that I have
a sweet mouth and therefore she couldn't tell whether
what I uttered was real or not. So she couldn't
trust me and that was fair enough for me.
And that's how Masta, as we call her, and myself became
    friends.

That's when I learnt, she has the sweetest heart. She just likes
hearing me go on about my love life.
And I on the other hand, just being in her presence
was enough for me since I couldn't get any more
    than friendship.

So I made this drawing of her out of remembrance of our
friendship and to show the world the beauty
my hometown has. Carefully picked the color of the background
and the butterfly to express her femininity.

Making this drawing was just joy, 'specially after the reaction I
got from her after she saw it for the first time.

    Hey Masta, hope you're well:)

  • Finkie's Tat, My Entry Tat

The tattoo that made Bongzzy Bongz the Tattoist.

This guy just walked up to me after it had been what had seemed like a while after I'd started drawing. But before then I had done a tattoo on my man, and I really believed that I could do more and improve. So clearly the guy was convinced.

The Lord Is My Shepherd. That's what
he wanted from shoulder down the
tricep and across the forearm. That's
absolute madness man, I said. No one
does a tattoo that big at once. Well,
evidently I knew little about tattoos and lovers of the art.

I reluctantly set up the machine and needle, a cloth and some clean water. I then fired up the engine and it was time. It took us the whole day to complete it. But it was okay, this guy was prepared to give the whole day and so was I. So this is what came out of it.

    I was completely and confidently
    motivated to go on.

  • Cre-Art-Ive is still alive!!!

    Hello everyone. Name's Bongz.

It's been a long long while since I last posted I know, my apologies.
I simply have been busy. Trying to bring up this project. I got to admit, it's one of the toughest thing I've ever had to do. If I didn't love it so much, and if I didn't have so much to give back to you family, I would've given up a long time ago.

It's crazy, I'm posting here, I don't even have pictures to add to this article. There's so much I've done since the last time I was here, so much I got to share with you. I'm talking Tattoos, Paintings, Drawings, and now beats too. I almost forgot.. Cre-Art-Ive has a producer now and is dire need of Recording artists. But that's a topic for another day.

For now, Just know that Cre-Art-Ive is very much alive and there's a lot of content coming your way.

    So watch this space.

    One Love!!!

  • This is, Paballo Tsiane.

This is, Paballo Tsiane. Had a serious neck for turning her pictures into drawings.

You may ask, why even bother, and what's it to me?
Well, I think most of you know about a boy by the name of Bongani who fell in love with Paballo Tsiane.
It was distance romance so as you can probably guess, I just loved watching her photos and reminiscing on the good times we had. But there is one other thing I enjoyed staring at just as much as I did watching her pictures. Yes, my drawings.
So to me, turning these pictures into drawings allowed me to stare at the two things I loved staring at the most at once. So there, that's the primary reason.

This is how the drawing turned out when I stopped working on it. Grey scale with a dash of brown in the background, and the blue on the pillow the lady nicely laying on

And here it was just I doing some editing, playing around adding some final touches to the digital version of the drawing. Had mad fun doing this as I certainly do with all my drawings.

    Loved it.
